The Pro Driver Refreshing Rewards card and app are designed to provide many of the same benefits as Refreshing Rewards, but also offers special fuel discounts and exclusive rewards for professional drivers.

 (Louisville, KY – May 27, 2021) – 2021 marks 50 years of Thorntons and the convenience store chain is celebrating all summer long. From now through Labor Day, the company will honor this special milestone and reward Guest loyalty with two exciting Refreshing Rewards promotions. 

 In preparation for the busy summer selling season, Thorntons is hiring 350 Team Members companywide to ensure stores are staffed and ready to provide great guest service 24/7. To help meet this goal, Thorntons is offering a dedicated open interview day and time each week in every store for seasonal, part-time and full-time in-store positions. This is the company’s first time using this approach. 

 On Tuesday Thorntons opened its newest location—a non-profit community store in partnership with the Louisville Urban League. This first-of-a-kind store will operate as a sustainable not-for-profit venture with all profits from sales being reinvested by the Louisville Urban League to promote community equity and empowerment. It will also serve as a local recruitment and training facility to increase access for West End residents to employment options across the Thorntons network. 

Thorntons is proud to announce that our newest store located at 11975 Route 47 in Huntley, IL opens today. This is our first location in Huntley, our 84th in Illinois and brings our total store count to 207
